About Us

Founded in 2003, Troop 437 is excited to celebrate its 21st anniversary in the 2023-2024 Year in Scouting. We are a part of Scouts BSA, in the Ozark Trails Council, Pathfinder District, and are proudly sponsored by Asbury United Methodist Church.

Our Troop calendar is full of adventure, from camping in the great outdoors to monthly Merit Badge Classes and much, much more.  We're especially excited to include events in the community like day hikes, plays, and festivals.  Food is central to our Scouting experience; be it a hot meal and award-winning fruit cobbler and s'mores around a campfire, or tacos and treats for families at our Court of Honors.  We're always looking for an opportunity to help our community!

We track advancements and awards using ScoutBook, a simple, online tool that we offer to parents as a way of viewing their Scout's completions as they move along the ranks of Scouting.  When a Scout joins the Troop, an invitation is sent for parents to connect to their ScoutBook profile.  We regularly communicate with Troop families using the ScoutBook program, so it's important that you accept that invitation and complete your own profile to include your email address and cell phone number.
